That’s why our staff recently embarked on a familiarisation trip to Florence, Italy, where they visited some of the city’s most exclusive hotels.
One of the highlights of our trip was the Helvetia & Bristol Firenze – Starhotels Collezione. This iconic hotel, located in the heart of Florence, has a rich history dating back to the early 20th century. One of our luxury lifestyle managers had the pleasure of meeting with Mr Stefano Dondi, the Director of Luxury Sales, who shared the hotel’s unique room designs with us.
One part of the hotel features a classic style, with all rooms named Helvetia, while the other part features a modern style, with all rooms named Bristol. The attention to detail is unparalleled, with each room boasting luxurious amenities and a personalised experience that will make you feel like royalty.
But the main attraction of the Helvetia & Bristol Firenze is its stunning restaurant, IRENE, which overlooks the Piazza della Repubblica. This chic restaurant serves delicious Tuscan cuisine with a modern twist, earning it a place in the prestigious Michelin Guide. The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, allowing guests to enjoy stunning city views while dining on delectable dishes made with only the freshest, locally-sourced ingredients.
We also had the pleasure of visiting The Place Firenze, a boutique hotel with only 20 rooms. The individual approach and attention to detail make The Place Firenze a must-visit for those seeking a unique, intimate luxury experience. The rooms are beautifully decorated, featuring custom-made furniture and modern amenities that make you feel at home. But the true highlight of the hotel is its stunning rooftop terrace, where guests can enjoy panoramic views of Florence’s historic city centre.
