Scheduled to open on the 13th March 2017, The Lanesborough Club & Spa is certain to become one of London’s most exclusive private members’ fitness and health clubs. This elegantly appointed space offers guests and club members access to the leading experts in the fields of fitness, beauty and wellness.
Insignia was invited to experience the opening of the grand Club & Spa. On arrival we were guided through the exquisite interiors of the Lanesborough into the lounge area. The first thing that caught our eye was the ultra-modern fireplace. I won’t try to explain the effect given off by this unique part of the lounge, but it has to be seen to be believed. The lounge brings together the ultimate in refined living with a double dose of ambient Zen.
The design is inspired by the ceremonial spaces and intimate areas synonymous with the Roman Bath Spa, while maintaining the property’s inherently British heritage. The space also features the most sumptuous demask silk wallpapers, wood panelling and leather upholstery that compliments the character of the luxury club experience.
With regards to fitness, the gym encompasses the very best in technology and equipment. Aside from the central gym, spaces include a separate fitness studio for classes and a private personal training studio. Personal training and consultations will be offered by James Duigan’s Bodyism. Classes include Bodyism Boxing and Bodyism Warrior in addition to acroyoga, ballet, Pilates and yoga.
