We were privileged to dine in the Michelin-starred restaurant Sadler, with representatives from Leading Hotels of the World. The hotel’s decor is simply exquisite, featuring stunning works by the artist Enrico Castellani. The hotel boasts one of the most expensive art pieces in the world, purchased for an impressive $1,000,000. From the moment we stepped into the hotel, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of luxury and sophistication.
Next on our itinerary was the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Milan, where we had the pleasure of meeting with the Director of Sales, Lorenzo Costantini. The hotel is ideally situated just a stone’s throw away from the iconic Duomo and offers luxurious accommodations with impeccable service. We highly recommend taking advantage of the hotel’s spa facilities and indulging in a sumptuous meal at Seta, the hotel’s two-Michelin-starred restaurant, run by acclaimed chef Antonio Guida.
For a truly unique experience, we also checked out the new opening in Milan, Portrait Milano Hotel – Lungarno Collection 5*. This stunning boutique hotel is located in a historic building dating back to 1565 and has been thoughtfully renovated to include modern amenities while preserving its historic charm. The hotel’s central location in Milan’s fashion district makes it the perfect base for exploring the city’s rich culture and entertainment.
During our visit, we were fortunate to have the expertise of an excellent tour guide, Mrs Fedra Pavesi. She guided us around the world-famous La Scala opera house and the Brera Academy, where we learned about the city’s rich artistic history. We also had the chance to learn about the legacy of iconic fashion designer Armani, further immersing ourselves in Milan’s unique and fascinating culture.
Milan is truly a feast for the senses, offering world-class hotels, Michelin-starred restaurants, and a rich history and culture that will captivate any visitor. Our trip allowed us to experience the very best of this remarkable city.
