Waldhaus Flims completes its £33million refurb

The luxury hotel Waldhaus Films is a Alpine Grand Hotel & Spa in Switzerland where romance, luxury and wellness can be enjoyed amidst breathtaking nature. The hotel has opened following a yearlong £33 million refurbishment of two of its three hotels, its restaurants and expansive 3,000sqm spa, with the addition of a new private day spa suite, complete with its own sauna and Hamman. Guests will stay in the retreat’s newly refurbished Chalet Belmont, which will has also undergone a complete renovation and upgrade to all rooms.

In addition to offering a wonderland of summer activities on its doorstep, Waldhaus Flims also offers the food lover an epicurean delight. The hotel’s four restaurants offer wholesome, local gastronomy, ranging from “The Grand”, a new international gastro restaurant, located in the Grand Hotel, or “Epoca” for a feast of the eyes and stomach. This spring, Waldhaus Flims will further enhance its world class dining with the appointment of new Executive Chef, Patrick Hetz. Patrick is part of a young generation of exceptional chefs in Switzerland. Originally from Austria, 34 year old Hetz is known for his inspiring and diverse culinary skills, having received 14 Gault Millau points with his last position at the Dolder Grand in Zurich.
