Montblanc: Princesse Grace de Monaco – Limited Edition 29

Princess Grace of Monaco’s legacy is as pervasive as ever. It’s hard to believe she passed away 34 years ago next month. In the past few years alone a touring museum exhibit featuring her children’s clothes and beloved namesake Kelly bags by Hermès made its way around the world, a Hollywood film starring Nicole Kidman hit theaters and haute couture collections continue to be inspired by the late Monegasque royal.

Now Montblanc is paying tribute to Grace Kelly. The venerable German manufacturer of luxury writing instruments has put together The Princesse Grace de Monaco – Limited Edition 29 collection. It is the manifestation of the extraordinary woman admired the world over. Her legendary glamour is palpable in its feminine neckline design and opulent drop-cut pink sapphire (0.45ct) on the clip. The cap and barrel are varnished in rose-coloured lacquer while the summit of the pen is mother-of-pearl and is decorated with white diamonds (0.55ct).

Only 29 pens were crafted to commemorate 1929, the year the Princess was born.
