Ibiza Nobu – Easter Egg Hunt

Easter is a significant holiday in Ibiza, and at Insignia, we can provide an itinerary that will allow you to experience it in style. The celebrations begin on Palm Sunday with the blessing of the palms, where people carry branches of palms to the church to be blessed. During the Holy Week (or Semana Santa), there are daily processions in the old town of Ibiza featuring statues and floats, with locals and visitors alike following along. The week’s highlight is the procession on Good Friday, known as “La Procesión del Entierro” or the “Procession of the Burial.”

On Easter Sunday, families celebrate the Resurrection with a traditional meal featuring roast lamb and sweets like torrijas, a Spanish version of French toast. There are often fireworks displays in the evening, and many people attend the midnight Mass, known as the “Misa de Gloria.”

In addition to these traditional Easter activities, the Nobu Hotel Ibiza Bay has a fantastic programme of events for the whole family.
