World Business Forum

The World Business Forum is an annual global business summit organised and curated by WOBI, an executive education and management content firm. Hosted in cities across the Americas, Europe, and Asia, the World Business Forum is a two-day event that brings together thousands of restless minds united by their passion for business.

This year’s edition is scheduled to take place at the David Geffen Hall in New York City on 20-21 October 2020. It will feature host speakers General Colin L. Powell and Academy Award-winning filmmaker James Cameron among many others.

The World Business Forum launched in 2004 with past speakers including political figures such as Bill Clinton, Kofi Annan, Rudy Giuliani, and Tony Blair; CEOs such as Jack Welch, Richard Branson, Herb Kelleher and John Chambers; financial experts Alan Greenspan and Jeremy Siegel as well as management experts Tom Peters, Peter Drucker and Michael Porter.

The yearly summit brings together approximately 5,000 attendees, 75% of whom are at director level or above, and 30% are C-Suite executives. Together they represent more than 500 companies from across 40 countries, providing a unique networking environment to connect with like-minded professionals.

Tickets to the event aren’t cheap, with individual VIP seats costing as much as $4,490. This outlay should be considered a valuable investment given the rare opportunity to rub elbows (quite literally in the new cost-COVID normal) with some of the world’s most renowned CEOs, entrepreneurs, innovators, thinkers, artists and sportspeople.
